Sarah has spent over a decade working and volunteering in the legal immigration field. During her school Sarah worked as an intern for the anti-Human Trafficking and protection of Migrants section of the United Nations headquarters in Vienna, Austria. After passing the California bar exam and receiving her law license, Sarah became the supervising immigration attorney for the Employee Rights Center, a non profit organization in San Diego, California.

In 2012 Sarah established her own private practice, maintaining offices in her home state of Oregon and Southern California. Sarah opened her first office in Hillsboro, Oregon in 2014 to better serve her community. The practice covers all matters of immigration law including family-based immigration, removal defense, asylum claims, DACA, as well as petitions for victims of crime and human trafficking. Sarah has written articles and guides on immigration law for news publications, immigration authorities, and updates on changes to immigration law.

Sarah has been featured in the Oregonian, the state's largest newspaper, on Univision's television program Despierta San Diego, is listed as a contributor to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Oregon Chapter, and has published an article in Trial Bar News, a resource and guideline on criminal law for criminal defense lawyers in the state of Oregon.

Sarah has also been a proud member on the board of Attorneys for Asociación Liderazgo Comunitario and the Continuing Education Foundation. Sarah is a proud graduate of California Western Law School in San Diego, California. She received her Juris Doctor in 2008 and her undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon in December of 2004.
